Points Based Staking System

Placing bets off the back of strong study gives you an advantage to a degree, but combining that with a simple points based staking system is the key to maximising your returns. All bets are advised at 5 points – a simple yet highly effective system:

Betting Bank

Whilst backing winners is great, to successfully maximise your returns you have to put aside your staking money into a dedicated betting bank. Dividing this betting bank into points determines the size of each of your bets.

What is the value of your point?

Divide the total amount of money in your betting bank into between 50 and 100 points depending on the size of your initial betting bank. With a slightly smaller bank you may decide to be a little more aggressive. If you are placing larger bets you may wish to have a bigger bank. The main thing is you have to be comfortable with the amounts you are staking and whilst the incentive is to win, you must always be prepared to lose.

Example:

If you have £250 to bet and decide to use a 50 point system, your average point will be £5.00, and a 5 point win bet would be a total bet of £25. If you have £1,000 to bet, you may wish to give yourself a bigger comfort zone and use a bigger point bank.

Decide on how much you have to bet. Decide on a points value based on a bank of between 50 and 100 points, and work out how much you will be staking. Do it now.

HOW IS IT CALCULATED?

Our promise to our clients is that we do not tip horses that are 6/4 (1.50) or less.

If your stake for 1 point is £10 and we always advise a 5 point stake bet, then your bet would be for £50. For example purposes, if a horse won at 6/4;

Simply divide 6 by 4 which equals 1.5, then times 1.5 by 5 because that's how many points staked and then plus 5 because you also get your stake back. 12.5 Points return made up of 7.5 points profit and 5 points stake.

Another example, 1pt = £25 but the horse wins at 7/2 (3.5).

7 divided by 2 = 3.5
3.5 times 5 (number of pts you staked) = 17.5 pts
17.5 plus 5 (get your stake back also) = 22.5 pts

Monetary terms, because your point stake was £25 and we always advise a 5 pt bet meaning £100 bet. £100 times 3.5 (7/2 odds) returns £350.00 and then plus your stake that you also get back of £100 equaling £450.00.

PLEASE NOTE: We ONLY calculate PROFIT in our profit/loss and not your STAKE.
